What every lamp in these guides has in common

The format does not change from one flower to the next, so it is worth understanding once and then forgetting about. Each lamp holds a single real flower that has been preserved and then cast inside a clear resin sphere. That sphere rests on a beech wood base, with a warm LED set underneath so the light travels up through the flower instead of shining at it from the side.

Preserving replaces the water inside the flower rather than letting it dry out, which is why the petals stay soft and the colour stays close to what it was on the plant. Casting it in resin then seals it away from air and moisture, so there is nothing to water and nothing to trim.

Two sizes cover almost everything: a 65mm sphere and an 80mm sphere, both on the same base. The only exceptions are the sunflower, which is cast in a single larger 100mm sphere, and the lily of the valley speaker lamp, which also plays music through a small Bluetooth speaker in the base.

Engraving is optional and sits on the wood rather than the flower, so personalising a lamp never touches the bloom. Everything ships free worldwide.

Start with the size and the material

Two decisions come before anything else: how large the resin sphere should be, and what you are actually buying when a listing says resin. Neither one is obvious from a product photo.

Size guide

Small vs Medium Preserved Flower Lamp: Which Size Should You Choose?

A 65mm sphere and an 80mm sphere differ by 15mm, and that difference decides whether the lamp disappears on a shelf or holds its own. This one compares presence, placement and gifting style side by side.

What each flower means

Most people arrive knowing the person rather than the flower. These three guides work backwards, starting from the message you want the gift to carry.

Engraving, care and keeping it for years

Two things decide how personal the lamp feels when it is unwrapped and how it looks five years later: the words cut into the base, and the way the lamp is kept.

Care

How Long Do Preserved Flowers Last?

An honest answer on lifespan, what shortens it, and the three things a preserved flower can never be given: water, mist and direct sunlight.

Read the care guide

Reading order, if you want one. Start with the size guide to settle on 65mm or 80mm, then pick the flower from the meanings guide, and finish with the engraving guide if you want words on the base.

Questions that come up before ordering

Should I choose the 65mm or the 80mm lamp?

The 65mm sphere sits comfortably on a narrow shelf or a small bedside table and reads as a personal, everyday gift. The 80mm gives the flower more room and is the size most people choose for an anniversary or a milestone, where you want the lamp to be noticed the moment the box is opened. Both sizes use the same beech wood base and the same warm LED underneath.

Can I add a name or a date?

Yes. Engraving is a small add-on chosen at checkout, and the text is cut into the beech wood base rather than printed on it, so it cannot peel or rub off. Up to 30 characters fits comfortably, which is enough for a name, a date, or a short line. If you would rather use handwriting or a small drawing, you can send it as an image or a PDF instead.

Do preserved flowers need any care?

No watering and no trimming, at any point. Wipe the outside of the resin sphere with a soft dry cloth if it picks up dust, and keep the lamp out of direct sunlight. That is the whole routine, and it applies to every lamp in the collection.

How long will the flower actually last?

The bloom is preserved first, then sealed inside cured resin, so air and moisture cannot reach it. Kept out of direct sun, a preserved flower lamp holds its appearance for years rather than months. The LED in the base is the only part that could ever need attention.
